Use case 1

A vendor assessment you can defend in an audit.

Available now

You review a provider and later have to explain how the assessment came about. Leapfacto records the passage behind every finding and presents it to you for approval.

Why Leapfacto

From assumed trust to traceable evidence

The name says it: Leapfacto assesses with evidence instead of assertions.

EVIDENCE

The source comes before the score

Every finding points to the passage in the document it comes from. You read not just an assessment, but its reasoning.

LIABILITY

A clear line between proposal and decision

Leapfacto produces scored proposals. The decision about a vendor stays with you and is documented as a human approval.

TIME

Time in review, not in research

Extraction and the scored proposal are handled by the system. Your experts work where their judgement is needed.

MATURITY

Open about what is still missing

We name certifications and further integrations only once they exist. They are not presented as features on this page.

Outcome

What is there at the end

Four things that exist after one run, without anyone assembling them.

FINDING

List of findings

The open points for one provider in a list instead of in an inbox.

SOURCE

Source per finding

Document, section and page: the place the finding comes from.

ASSESSMENT

Confidence per proposal

How solid the assessment is sits next to the proposal, not in a footnote.

TRAIL

Decision log

Who approved, corrected or dismissed what, and on which basis.

Process

Four steps to approval

The way from a file to a valid finding, in the detail shown on the platform page.

1 · Upload the documents

Questionnaires, certificates, audit reports and the contract for one provider.

2 · Extraction

Every data point is tied to its source; missing data points are reported as gaps.

3 · Scored proposal

The system proposes a risk level and shows the passage that supports it.

4 · Review and approval

Your team confirms, corrects or dismisses each finding. Only the approval makes it valid.

Who it is for

Where the first run pays off most

  • You review providers several times a year and start every review from zero.
  • Your documents are scattered: questionnaire in an inbox, certificate in a folder, contract in contract management.
  • In an audit you have to show what an assessment rests on, not just that it exists.
FAQ

Common questions

How long does an assessment take?

It depends on the number and quality of the documents and on the depth of the review, not on the tool. In the pilot we tell you how the time breaks down for you instead of promising a number.

Who decides in the end?

Your team. The system presents findings; only the approval makes them valid. Without approval there is no assessment.

Can I reject a proposal?

Yes, per finding: confirm, correct or dismiss. Corrections stay visible in the log.

What do I need to start?

The documents for one provider: questionnaire, certificates, audit reports, contract. Which documents help most is covered in the guide to the documents.
